The OISC is proud to be a Project of Community Partners  a 501 (c) (3) non-profit corporation in the State of California.

 Friends of the OISC

FOTOISC (pronounced photo-isc)  has formed to provide both an informal and formal path for people interested in helping out and having fun.

Much has been done through the Optical Society of Southern California and we thank them all for their encouragement and support.  Click here to see the slides for the OSSC 2007 Summer Board Meeting

Also, our friends from Irvine Valley College's Laser Electro Optics Technology Program (now at CACT) have been instrumental in so many ways to helping the OISC.

As a Project of Community Partners, the OISC is legally and financially governed and managed by the Community Partners Board of Directors through its President.

It is the shared goal of the OISC and Community Partners to build the OISC's Board's strength and the OISC's infrastructure over the coming months so that in the future (~1 - 2 years) the OISC will be strong enough to "spin" out of the Community Partners' incubator and stand alone successfully for many years.

Your commitment to serve as an Advisor in general or be more involved as a member of the Board of Advisors, will greatly benefit the future of the OISC and the people with whom we work.
