Preparations for Speed of Light Exhibit at Irvine City Hall These photos show the current water color exhibit at Irvine City Hall. This layout will work very well for our Speed of Light Exhibit. Our exhibit will be sectioned as shown below. We would like the actual Speed of Light experiment (Newport Table) to be located next to the wall by the bottom of the staircase across from the front of the exhibit. We will have a flyer holder on the Title panel for our guests. I would like to know if we can use the computer kiosk (currently not functioning - maybe we can fix it!!) We would like to run a continuous loop slide show of kids having fun doing science (optics related projects.)

The Acknowledgements, Supporter & Collaborators poster will look something like this web page. Most of the posters are at least 80% complete except the "What is Light" section. "We have the How do we measure it" where we will display a procedure from a university physics lab class (Donn's class). We will also have a photo of the Newport Table experiment with captions and arrows pointing out the various components on the actual table. |
